Li : To explore how our ancestors measured time
for inquiry , we’re looking at how our ancestors told time without clocks. There are three main devices they used: the hourglass, sundial, and clepsydra. We split into groups of three, and each person picked a device to research about. After discovering lots of cool facts, we made a Google Slides presentation. This activity helped us see how clever people long ago were at telling time. Before modern clocks, they used tools like sundials, water clocks, and hourglasses to figure out what time it was. THese ancient clocks helped make the clocks we use today. It’s amazing to see how things have changed from those early tools to the fancy watches and clocks we have now!
